Terms of use
This site is a guide to washing, gutter and roof care for Auckland homes, with a North Shore focus, with a form for asking about a quote. By browsing it you're agreeing to the ground rules below.
Who does the work
We arrange the job and the local crew carries it out. Those crews are independent contractors, so the one covering your area prices the work with you directly. Say yes, and the job runs on that contractor's terms: the price, the standard of the work, any warranty, their insurance and safety on your property all sit with them, not with us.
About the dollar figures
The cost bands you'll see on our service pages are a rough guide, pulled together from figures Auckland operators publish. Treat them as a starting point, never a quote. Two storeys, a steep pitch, tricky access or a roof that hasn't been touched in ten winters will all shift the number, and the contractor confirms it before any work begins.
Our tips are general
Everything in the tips section is general know-how. It can't replace someone looking at your house, and none of it is a nudge to climb a ladder or get onto a roof yourself. If you do work off the ground, WorkSafe’s working-at-height guidance is the place to start.
Limits on our responsibility
We work to keep these pages right, but they may have gaps or go out of date. So far as the law permits, we can't carry the cost if something goes wrong because you acted on what you read here. Where the Fair Trading Act 1986 or the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 covers what you've bought, those protections stay with you whatever this page says.
Updates
These rules get revised from time to time, and whatever is published here is what counts. This version dates from 2026-10-09.
